BORN IN ROMA. FOUND IN THE WILD.

Valentino Beauty goes ruby red for the holidays. Photographer and model William Camp IV takes the occasion somewhere considerably less predictable.

There's a Valentino bottle sitting on a rock somewhere near the water. Nobody seems particularly concerned about how it got there.

Nearby, photographer and model William Camp IV is dressed for an occasion the wilderness clearly wasn't invited to. Shimmering fabric, glossy black trousers, pointed boots, and sunglasses. It's an interesting choice for an afternoon surrounded by trees, uneven terrain, and absolutely no velvet ropes.

Then again, when has getting dressed ever required a reasonable explanation?

For Holiday 2026, Valentino Beauty welcomes Born in Roma Rendez-Vous Ruby, a limited-edition fragrance duo that trades subtlety for something considerably more delicious. Two new scents, two ruby-red bottles, and a generous appreciation for the unexpected.

The house's signature Rockstud bottle returns in Rosso Valentino, its architectural studs catching the light like little pieces of jewelry. But beyond the dramatic packaging, there's an equally interesting story happening inside.

Born in Roma Ruby Donna Eau de Parfum opens with ripe strawberry before moving into luminous jasmine sambac and the warmth of Madagascar bourbon vanilla. Sweet, floral, and indulgent, it's a fragrance that knows exactly what kind of entrance it wants to make.

Its counterpart, Born in Roma Ruby Uomo Eau de Toilette, approaches things differently. Raspberry introduces a vibrant fruitiness, while aromatic lavender and smooth, creamy woods bring the composition somewhere warmer and more intimate.

Two fragrances with distinct personalities, united by a shared appreciation for making an impression.

And that's precisely where William enters the picture.

For HOMMEHEART, Camp IV steps behind and in front of the camera, bringing Valentino's unmistakably glamorous world into a landscape that couldn't be further removed from the streets of Rome.

There's something fascinating about the contrast. The rough textures of weathered stone against polished red glass. The softness of the surrounding landscape against sharply considered styling. An expensive fragrance finding itself somewhere it has absolutely no business being.

And somehow, looking entirely at home.

It's a reminder that luxury doesn't necessarily belong inside a boutique, a carefully arranged vanity, or somebody's beautifully decorated bathroom.

Sometimes it belongs outside, with your boots planted firmly on the rocks, wearing something entirely inappropriate for the weather.

Valentino has always understood the appeal of contradiction. Romance and rebellion. Heritage and individuality. The familiar made unfamiliar.

With Rendez-Vous Ruby, that philosophy arrives in two new interpretations, each offering its own take on the pleasures of getting noticed.

Perhaps that's what makes the collection particularly interesting. Fragrance has a way of following us into places we never expected to find ourselves, becoming part of the memories we make there.

A particular afternoon. A person standing beside the water. Something sweet lingering in the air.

You might forget what you were doing.

But you'll remember what you wore.

And if anybody asks why you're dressed like that in the middle of nowhere?

Tell them you're meeting someone.
